REGENT THEATRE
“THEY ALL KISSED THE BRIDE.”
■ The Columbia picture, “They All Kissed the Bride,” which will be shown -tonight, is brimful of bright dialogue and laughable situations, and makes first-rate entertainment. The story tells of how a young man with nothing tries to humanise a young lady with plenty, and has his oWn unorthodox ideas of how to do it. He is Melvin Douglas, and the young lady is Joan Crawford. The lady’s introduction to the sunnier side of life has plenty of high lights, particularly when she is caught driving in one of her own strictly-controlled trucks. Roland Young and Billie Burke add a measure of comedy, and Allan Jenkins as a truck driver does the rest. A special short is the “March of Time” —“Show Business at War.” _ For up-to-date news the “March of Time” series should not be missed by picture patrons.
