“I MARRIED ADVENTURE” “I Married Adventure” will be finally shown tonight. “THUNDER BIRDS” Tomorrow night there will be shown the brilliant drama, off the air, “Thunder Birds,” telling the story of avenging eagles from the four corners of the earth, performing daring deeds as they fly for vengeance and victory. It is presented in beautiful technicolour, and was filmed at the United States Army’s famous Thunderbird and Falcon fields. It is one of the. most thrilling pictures ever brought to the scicen, and is superbly acted. The chief roles are taken by Gene Tierney, Preston Foster, John Sutton, Jack Holt and May Whitty. The .principal characters are a young English doctor trying for his wings as an R.A.F. trainee in Texas, a hard-boiled instructor, and a girl with whom both of them fall in love. There is the usual rivalry between the men, with the advantage all on the instructor’s side, but everything comes light in the end. Some exciting flying adds to the picture’s interest.
