LARGE BUTTER FACTORY IN THAMES DISTRICT.
LOSS OF VALUABLE PLANT,

A fire at the New Zealand Dairy Company’s Waitoa butter factory resulted in a large portion being badly gutted. Valuable plant, including a new £2OOO cooler, was destroyed. The loss, partly covered by insurance, totals thousands of pounds. A stock of manufactured butter was saved.
