OBITUARY
REV. G. S. KING
The death occurred at Nelson on Monday of the Rev. George Stuart King, at one time of the Presbyterian Church, Lansdowne. The late Mr King was 69 years of age. The late Mr King, who was formerly in charge of the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church, was well known in Masterton, where he is held in high respect. He took a keen interest in sport, particularly football. He was many years ago an official of the Red Star Football Club, for whose senior team a son formerly played. The funeral will take place in Masterton on Thursday, leaving the Presbyterian Church, following a service at 3.30 p.m., for the Masterton cemetery.
