REGENT THEATRE
"SHADOW OF A DOUBT.” Tonight’s programme will be headed by one of the masterpieces of the talkies, “Shadow of a Doubt.” With some of the most brilliant stars of the screen playing the principal roles it is a tense drama of mystery 'and romance. Teresa Wright, of “Pride of the Yankees” and “Mrs Miniver,” is brilliant as the girl in terror of her secret life. Joseph Cotton of “Citizen Kane” fame, is the sinister man no girl /could oppose. Supporting artists are MacDonald Carey, star of “Wake Island," Patricia Collinge, Henry Travers and Wallace Ford. It is a Universal picture. Also on the programme is a March of Time, “Invasion,” which gives a vivid idea of the enormous problem and work to be done by the Allies in connection, with the war. Patrons are requested to book their seats early to avoid disappointment.
