DISTINGUISHED AMERICAN AIRMAN WINNER OF CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOUR FOR SHOOTING DOWN FIVE ENEMY BOMBERS (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) NEW YORK, December 10. Lieutenant-Commander Edward (Dutch) O'Hare, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour for shooting down five Japanese bombers in the battle of the Coral Sea, is missing in action, states a Navy announcement. The Associated Press of America says O’Hare probably is missing in the South Pacific. President Roosevelt, when presenting the medal, said O'Hare was one of the greatest combat flyers in aviation history.
