IN BULGARIAN PARLIAMENT REPORTED BY CORRESPONDENT IN HUNGARY. DEMANDS FOR WITHDRAWAL FROM WAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) STOCKHOLM, December 10. The Bulgarian Foreign Minister, M. Kirov, has resigned, following a stormy secret session of the Bulgarian Parliament, in which the Government's foreign policy was sharply criticised, says the “Svenska Dagbladet’s'’ Budapest correspondent. The Opposition leader, M. Mashanov, declared that if the Government was unable to prevent the Germans using Bulgaria as a military base, which would inevitably result in Bulgaria becoming a battlefield, then the Governmust be replaced by one better able to safeguard the country’s interests. One report says a no-confidence motion was carried. Other reports say the police in Sofia scattered street processions which shouted: “Bulgaria must withdraw from the war,” Many arrests were made.
