SERVICE APPEALS
SITTING OF WAIRARAPA APPEAL BOARD TERRITORIAL TRAINING, DISTRICT CASES DEALT WITH. The Wairarapa Armed Forces Appeal Board held a sitting in Masterton yesterday afternoon. The chairman, Mr R. R. Burridge, presided and there were also present, Messrs L. T. Daniell, J. Lewis and the secretary and Crown representative, Mr G. F. Whitlock. The following decisions were given in appeals relating to Territorial service:— Dismissed: Ileum Patrick Spring, blacksmith (W. Spring). Adjourned sine die: William John Minchin, shearer (Wairarapa Production Council); Gordon Longworth, grain storeman (W.F.C.A. Ltd.); Clifford Emerson, farm hand (Wairarapa Production Council); Paul Anthony Morris, farm hand (Wairarapa Production Council); Noel Arthur S. Castle, shearer and shed hand (Wairarapa Production Council); Jack Edward Good, egg floor employee (Wairarapa Production Council); Raymond Lars Nielsen, lorry driver (Mauriceville Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd.); Henry Torquil G. Hudson, agricultural worker (H. T. Parsons); Graham C. MacConnell, shearer (Director of National Service).
