WOODVILLE RACES
PROSPECT OF TWELVE EVENTS There is the prospect of the Woodville District Jockey Club’s jubilee meeting on Saturday extending to ’l2 races. With 49 acceptors for the Maiden Stakes and the safety number 20, this event has been drawn up in three divisions. The Nursery Handicap for two-year-olds exceeds the safety number
by two, and divisions have boon arranged also for this event. The Borough Handicap, in which the acceptances numbered 27 (nine above the safety number), has been divided into two separate races, which will now be the sixth and seventh events on the card. The Whariti Hack Handicap, with 21 acceptors, is two over the limit.
