MEETING OF APPEAL BOARD. DECISIONS IN EKETAHUNA/ CASES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Wairarapa Armed Forces Appeal Board held a sitting at Eketahuna yesterday. There were present: Messrs R. R. Burridge (chairman), L. T. Daniell, J. Lewis, and G. F. Whitlock (secretary and Crown representative). In the following cases the name of the person lodging the appeal is given in parentheses:— Adjourned sine die: Francis George Higginson, farmer (reservist); Henry Erl Dunn, sheepfarmer (reservist); Alex. William Peter Roach, dairy farmer (reservist); Gordon Frederick Wilsher, farm hand (John Dougherty); Desmond C. Braddick, farm hand (G. W. Braddick); George Alexander Berendt, shepherd (W. Harrison); J. M. Drysdale, transport driver (D. P. Ryan and Sons); George M. Kebbell, sheep farm manager (R. W. Kebbell); Peter Sexton, shepherd (Wairarapa Production Council), Territorial training in February); John Nagel, farm hand (O. H. Nagel); Leslie Jons Sigvertsen, dairy farmer (reservist); Charles Edward Sigvertsen, sheep farmer and share milker (Wairarapa Production Council); William Austin Rolls, farm hand (W. Pickett); Ivan Gordon, farm labourer (H. E. Jaspers); Thomas Atkins, farm hand (E. F. Atkins). Adjourned: Louis Algie, farm hand and shearer (Algie Estate), to the next sitting of the board in December; Patrick C. Giles, cheesemaker, (Director of National Service), to March 1, 1944; Athol George W. Hull, farm hand (J. M. Hill), territorial training limited to the month of, February.
