ARAB SWORD

PRESENT FOR MR CHURCHILL FROM KING OF SAUDI ARABIA. STAND IN GREAT CRISIS ADMIRED. ■ (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 6. The two Arabian princes, the Amirs Fersol and Khalid, sons of King Abdul Aziz, of Saudi Arabia, visited No. 10 Downing Street on Monday and presented Mrs Churchill, on behalf of their father, with a beautiful Arab sword, with a heavily jewelled hilt and gold scabbard, also heavily jewelled. This was a present from the King to Mr Churchill, and in making the presentation the Amir Fe.isul said the sword was a sign of friendship -and admiration for Mr Churchill’s stand in the greatest crisis in the history of the world. Mrs Churchill, in replying, accepted the sword, on Mr Churchill’s behalf, as a token of the steadfast friendship which the King of Saudi Arabia had always shown towards Britain.
