YOUNG WOMEN’S DIVISION
Considerable interest is being taken in the Young Women’s branch of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. activities. Monday is now girls’ day with the junior and intermediate classes meeting in the f" afternoon under the leadership of Miss ; E. Beale. During the summer months an outdoor programme of games, etc., is being operated, with points awarded for progress and efficiency, these points counting towards the club’s championship banner. In the evening the sepior section activities are led by Mrs C. A. Pickering, the division secretary. The last two Monday evenings saw a happy band of young women tramping into the country, where all the cares of office and business were forgotten. Next Monday a tea swimming party will take place at a suitable location at the river.
