RAID ON CALCUTTA
MADE BY JAPANESE PLANES IN DAYLIGHT. CASUALTIES AND DAMAGE. LONDON, December 5. The Japanese today made their first daylight air attack on Calcutta. Bombs caused casualties and damage. Previous Japanese raids on Calcutta, a year ago, were made at night.
