MORALE DRIVE ON HOME FRONT. LONDON, December 4. • The German leaders, Press and wireless have, been trying hard in the last few days to soften the effects which they know the meeting will have upon the German people and are seeking to prepare them for some kind of declaration by the United Nations. The Berne corresondent of the Swedish “Svenska Dagbladet” says the German newspapers were instructed to launch a morale drive on the home front, stressing that the Allies intend to annihilate the German people and preaching hate, particularly against Britain.
