RALLY AT MASTERTON DISTRICTS WELL REPRESENTED LARGE ATTENDANCE AT PARK The Masterton Park Oval was a hive of activity this afternoon when the Wairarapa County Scout rally took place. There was a large attendance of the public to witness over three hundred Scouts and cubs in demonstrations. Eketahuna. Masterton, Carterton, Greytown and Featherston districts were represented. The Scouts competed in marching, tent pitching, knot tying, ambulance, trestle building, water boiling and signalling for the Beetham Shield. The Cubs competed in marching, jungle dancing, finger bandaging, signalling. knot tying, ball throwing and leap frog games for the Booth Cup. There was a produce stall on the ground which did brisk business. A collection was taken up in aid of disabled Wairarapa soldiers.
