Reports from Poland reveal during recent air raids that American pilots dropped food parcels for Poles with the inscription: “Fighting America to Fighting Poland.” News about these parcels soon became known all over Poland and produced a deep impression on the Polish population who saw in this gesture of American pilots an expression of American friendship for Poles.
