SCHOOLBOY KILLED
CAUGHT & DRAGGED UNDER TRAIN. NEAR NEW LYNN STATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Dragged some distance by a train, a schoolboy met his death near the New Lynn Railway Station, shortly before 9 o'clock this morning. He was Ljuvo Nizach, aged 13. His home was at 11 Seabrook Avenue, New Lynn. Nizach, who was on his way to school at Henderson, was apparently caught under the train as ii was puffing out from New Lynn station and was carried several yards up the line and killed almost instantaneously. His body was discovered beside the track, towards the end of the railway yards, severely mutilated. An inquest will be opened tomorrow.
