NEW DEPOT IN MASTERTON WEEKLY COLLECTION ARRANGED The Masterton depot for receiving waste paper reopens in its new location at the rear of the F.C.D.C. and Wairarapa Steam Laundry on Monday, December 6. at 10 a.m. Arrangements have been made for the collection of waste paper on Monday of every week from businesses in the commercial area, and it is hoped that this service will be used and result in an increased supply of paper. The reclamation of waste paper is an essential industry and for the- service to pay its way at least one and a half tons per week require to be collected. After paying expenses the profits go to patriotic, funds. Clean newspaper may, until further notice, be left at the Town Clerk’s Office, as more is still required for packing shortly 2345 soldiers’ gift parcels.
