SOLWAY RAINFALL
FIGURES FOR NOVEMBER. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that rain was measured on 11 days in’ November. The maximum fall was 55 points on the 11th, the minimum 2 points on the 13th and 27th, and the total for the month 1.77 inches as against 1.94 (1942), 1.38 (1941), 4.88 (1940), 1.08 (1939), 2.94 (1938). The average for forty years is 2.82 inches. the total rainfall for the eleven months of this-year is 39.15 inches, as compared with 39.54 (1942), 41.11 (1941), 35.42 (1940), 26.54 (1939), 42.38 (1938). The average for forty years is 36.64 inches.
