General Smuts was one of the guests at an afternoon party given by the King and Queen today at Buckingham Palace to officers of the Dominion forces in this country. About 500 guests were present, including all the Dominion High Commissioners in London. Princesses Elizabeth . and Margaret, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Princess Royal and the Duchess of Kent were also present.
