COUPONS FOR FOUR WEEKS EXTRA RATION OF TEA (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Tea, sugar and butter coupons for the four weeks beginning on November 29 were stated last evening by the Food and Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas, to; be as follows:— Tea: Coupons Nos. 5 to 8 -Inclusive available for a' total of Boz of tea during the period November 29 to December 26 inclusive. Special coupon Y 3 available for Boz of tea at any time during the calendar months of December and January. Sugar: Coupons Nos. sto 8 inclusive available for a total of 31b of sugar during the period November 29 to December 26 inclusive. Special coupon Y2 available for 31b of sugar up to the end of December, 1943. Butter: “A” coupons 5 and 6 each available for Boz butter during the fortnight November 29 to “A” coupons 7 and 8 each available for Boz butter during the fortnight from December 13 to December 26. These rations are similar to those prevailing during the first four-weekly period since the introduction of the new book except that an additional Jib of tea is made available during the months of December and January. “The release of this additional tea ration has been made possible through the improvement that has taken place in our stock position in recent months,” said Mr Thomas.
