RAILWAY STRIKE IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA. SUSPENSION OF PORTER LIFTED. (Ey Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) ADELAIDE, November 27. The manpower authorities have lifted the suspension of the railway porter who is alleged to have insulted the Governor-General on his arrival at Adelaide last Monday. Two thousand railway employees struck when the porter was suspended. The Railway Commissioner has appealed against the decision of the manpower authorities. The strike, which began on Friday, is expected to end tomorrow. It stopped all passenger and goods traffic in South Australia and considerably disrupted war production.
