SUCCESSFUL PARTY

TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD GARDEN CIRCLE. YESTERDAY AFTERNOON’S GATHERING. The garden circle of the Masterton Townswomen’s Guild, held a highly successful garden party at Mrs Gaskin’s residence at Colombo Road yesterday afternoon. The weather was ideal and Mrs Gaskin’s garden provided welcome shade. The fine display of flowers was much admired. A bring-and-buy stall was well patronised by the large attendance. Croquet and other games were enjoyed.

Afternoon tea was served under the trees in the garden.
