HARMONY RESTORED

BETWEEN GREEK GUERILLA BANDS PITCHED BATTLE AGAINST GERMANS LASTS FOR TEN DAYS (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 19. The clashes which occurred a month ago between Greek guerilla bands have ceased, the rival organisations having realised that they were playing into German hands, says “The Times” Istanbul correspondent. There is a momentary lull in the operations which the Germans initialed a fortnight ago, with the object of eliminating the guerillas, the correspondent adds. A pitched battle lasted for ten days between the Germans and the troops of Colonel Zervass. The Germans suffered heavy losses and although they hold some roads the Greeks still control Mount Olympus and surrounding areas.
