SUMMER PROGRAMME

Y.M.C.A. ACTIVITIES. BOYS’ CAMP IN JANUARY, A comprehensive summer . programme for the youth of the district has been drawn up by the Masterton Y.M.C.A. On Monday, December 20, an all-day hike will be held. On Tuesday, December 21, there will be a cricket match for boys and games for girls. On Wednesday, December 22, there will be a cycle tour and a visit to a factory. On Thursday, December 23, a children’s social will be held from. 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. Each day the programme will start at 10 a.m. with an hour’s break for lunch and will conclude at 4.30 p.m. Each child will bring his own lunch. A boys’ camp will be held from January 5 to Januray 15. The camp will be open to all boy members of the Y.M.C.A. over 11 years. Full particulars may be obtained from Mr L. M. Johansen, general secretary, and all applications must reach him by December 22. •
