At the funeral of the late Mrs M. Thomson to which reference was made in yesterday’s issue; a wreath was sent, among others, from Messrs Fly an Young Ltd. St. Matthew’s Ladies’ Guild will hold its annual sale of work on Wednesday, November 24. in the Y.M.C.A, Church Street. The usual stalls will be in evidence and in spite of rationing will e well stocked. The ladies in charge of the cake stall will be very grateful if those who usually donate cakes will still endeavour to do so. Afternoon ea will be obtainable and the sale will open at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Snathe report of the business at the S.M. Court in Mastert.cn on Thursday, reference was made to a breach of the time regulation regarding car parking in Queen Street. The alleged offence took place in Bannister Street, where the time limit is 15 minutes. . In Queen Street the time limit is 45 minutes.
