BOMBS ON BERLIN

INDICATIONS OF STRONG RAID GIVEN IN ENEMY REPORTS MANY RADIO STATIONS CLOSE DOWN LONDON, November 18. German reports state that British bombers have attacked Berlin tonight with high-explosive and incendiary bombs. These enemy reports indicate that the raid was made in considerable strength, though they claim that the defences prevented it developing on a major scale. From Stockholm a break in telephonic communication with Berlin is reported. Radio stations in Germany and in occupied areas as far inland as Prague went off the air tonight.
