DUKE OF GLOUCESTER
APPOINTED TO SUCCEED LORD COWRIE AS governor-general OF AUSTRALIA. ANNOUNCEMENT IN LONDON. LONDON, November 15. It has just been announced that hi s Majesty the King has appointed the Duke of Gloucester to be the next Governor-General of Australia in succession to Lord Gowrie. Lord Gowrie’s term of office has been extended for six months, as from next January. ■
