ATTACKED AGAIN
JAPANESE AT RABAUL THREE WARSHIPS SUNK TWELVE OTHERS PROBABLY DAMAGED. HEAVY TOLL OF ENEMY AIRCRAFT. LONDON, November 12. United States naval aircraft and Liberator bombers have struck another damaging blow at Japanese warships m Rabaul. Details of the results are not yet reported completely, but a precis gives the following particulars:— One Japanese cruiser and two destroyers sunk. Another enemy cruiser and eleven destroyers probably damaged. 88 Japanese aircraft destroyed or damaged. Seventeen Allied aircraft are missing. . The naval aircraft engaged in the attack came from an aircraft-callici. Allied warships sustained minor damage and light casualties.
