GIANT TRANSPORT PLANE
FOR ECONOMICAL POST-WAR SERVICE. PLANNED BY HENRY FORD, (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 12. Mr Henry Ford has announced his intention to build giant multipleengined cargo and passenger planes at his Willow Run works after the war “to do great jobs for peonle who will need them.” Mr Ford said the design is not complete, but he is trying to develop a plane which will not need tremendously long runways, which can be operated at a fraction of the present costs, and which will be as safe as possible.
