ENEMY SHIPS
SUNK BY SOVIET AIRCRAFT IN BALTIC SUCCESSFUL GUERILLA ATTACKS BEHIND ENEMY FRONT (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) ' RUGBY, November 12. The Soviet Baltic Air Arm sank a trawler and a transport of 1,000 tons in the Gulf of Finland, reports a supplementary Soviet communique. Soviet partisans operating in the Kalinin region attacked a German garrison. The enemy was routed and the partisans captured eleven machineguns, one mortar, a wireless transmitter, rifles and ammunition. Another partisan group in two weeks derailed eight military trains.
