Y.M.C.A. LADIES
MEETING OF AUXILIARY. SATISFACTORY REPORTS. A meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A, was held in Masterton yesterday afternoon. Mrs H. Bannister presided over a good attendance and extended a welcome to two new members, Mesdames Callister and J. A. Kennedy, and to Mrs Bate.
An apology for absence was received from Mrs Willett.
The resignation of Mrs Nelson was accepted with regret, and she was accorded a vote of thanks for her valuable services.
The financial position was reported to be very satisfactory. Mesdames A. Corskie and W. L. Marchbank were appointed members of the finance campaign committee. The financial result of the shop day held recently was considered satisfactory, and a vote of thanks was passed to donors and all who had assisted.
Appreciation was expressed of the services rendered by those ladies who had acted as! hostesses for the dances throughout the year, and they were accorded a vote of thanks.
