(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) CAIRO, November 11. “Many of you were captured in Greece and you may wonder whether the venture was worth while,” said General Maitland Wilson, the Comman-der-in-Chief in the Middle' East,- addressing 400 repatriated New Zealand and Indian prisoners of war at a tea party. “I can say the Greek campaign certainly was worth while. “We have definite proof that if .we had not gone into Greece the attack against Russia would have started much earlier, with Russia’s defeat as a 'possible result. It was the winter which saved Moscow, and Greece was responsible for the six week’s delay which allowed the winter to intervene.” The guests at the party included Lady Freyberg.
