Heavy fighting during the past rew days against German, Ustachi and Buigarian units, is announced by General Mikhailovitch’s headquarters, says a Cairo message. A battle is raging m the Para Mountains on the right bank of the Drina River, in south-west Serbia. The enemy aims to cut off General Mikhailovitch’s forces in Serbia from those in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina. General Mikhailovitch’s forces still occupy Visegrad,, Zvornik and the lower reaches of the Drina River. • . There has been sharp fighting in Bosnia and Montenegro. Small Mikhailovitch detachments have crossed the Danube and broken into the Banat provinces, making the first guerilla attack on this region, which is unfavourable for guerilla warfare.
