ENEMY SHIPPING

ATTACKED BY ALLIED AIRCRAFT.

(British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY, November 7.
“Continuing bad weather in the Aegean area is hampering air operations, states a Middle East air communique. “A concentration of small enemy naval and merchant vessels and landing craft assembled at Port Naussa, in Pares, was attacked on Saturday. A naval auxiliary and two landing craft were seen on fire when our aircraft left. Hits were scored on many othervessels. This ’shipping was protected bj fighters. ../‘On Friday night warehouses and installations in Yres Island were bombed. On Saturday night an airfield at Antimachia, Cos, was attacked. A large explosion was observed. From these and other operations three aircraft are missing.”
