CHURCH SERVICES

At St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow the Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. The Rev. Hepa Taepa will be the preacher at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Captain H. Sutcliffe, C.A., will conduct a service at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. and at Taueru at 2.30 p.m. Tonight a welcome social gathering will be tendered to Pastor David Edwards at the Baptist Church. Pastor Edwards will conduct the Baptist Church services for the next three months. He was at Masterton during S’ the last college vacation and will be 7 remembered for his energetic presentation of the Gospel. Sunday School anniversary services will be held on Sunday. i ! ! The services at the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow night will be taken by Mr J. D. Blundell and at Wangaehu at 2 p.m. by Mr H. Bateup. The Rev. J. M. Simpson will conduct the services at the Knox Church tomorrow. The ordination and induction of elders will take place at the evening service. Sunday school anniversary services will be held at the Methodist Church tomorrow. An excellent selection of hymns, solos, duets, etc., will be given by a large children’s choir. Parents and friends are cordially invited to be present. The preacher will be the Rev. G. H. Goodman. A Church of Christ service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. with Sunday' School at 10 a.m.
