GREYTOWN
LABOUR PARTY EUCHRE PARTY & DANCE (“Times-Age” Special.) The ladies’ social committee of the local Labour Party held a very successful euchre party and dance in the Odd Fellows Hall on Wednesday night. The prize winners at euchre were:— Ladies, Miss Hebley 1, Mrs Fell 2; consolation, Miss Englebretson. Men, Mr C. Anderson 1, Mr McKenna 2; consolation, Mr Higgins. The aggregate winners were Mrs A. G. McHardy and Mr Strang and special prizes went to Mrs Anderson (ladies) and Mr Anderson (men). A raffle was won by L. Ming. The music for the dancing was supplied by Mr S. Te Tau. TOWN HALL “PRIDE OF THE YANKEES.” At the matinee tomorrow afternoon and again in the evening, will be shown the outstanding drama “Pride of the Yankees,” in which Gary Cooper and Teresa Wright have the leading roles'. WANTED— Handy man for a few days’ work—Maxton, Grey town.
