WAR ORPHANS
CAMPAIGN IN BRITAIN. FOR MIGRATION TO PACIFIC DOMINIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, November 2. A big campaign has begun in Britain to send war orphan children to New Zealand and Australia after the war. Al! British societies concerned with the welfare of children realise that the children’s future lies not' in the old world but in the new. They feel that there will be few opportunities for children in post-war Europe, but many in countries like New Zealand and Australia. Adoption societies in Britain at present have no trouble in finding parents for orphans, but as : the war progresses the number of children who have no real home is bound to increase.
