Reconnaissance pictures taken afterwards showed great devastation. Annotations are as follow: 1: Assembly shop. 2,3,4,5. Machine shops. 6. Administrative offices. 7. Elektrizitats Work (foundry). 8. Furnaces. All these objectives were seen to be gutted, when reconnaissance ’planes flew over Essen after the raid.
