Town Far Up Massico Slopes Taken by Fifth Army IMPORTANT GAINS MADE ALSO BY AMERICANS AND EIGHTH ARMY V _ ' POWERFUL AIR ATTACKS ON NORTHERN ITALY LONDON, November 2. In Italy the Fifth Army is now getting to grips with the next major defence line on which the Germans hope to make a stand. A correspondent states that the Allies have already shaken the foundations of this line, at the western end of Massico Range.
