Members of the Saint Andrew Society are reminded of the gathering to be held in the Masonic Hall on Saturday, when Halloween will be celebrated. An .energetic committee has arranged for the entertainment of the juveniles during the early part of the evening and this will be followed by the usual programme of Scottish and old-time dances. The secret Polish radio station reports that the low morale now prevailing amongst the Germans in Poland is illustrated by the folowing fact: When recently the German authorities in Warsaw urgently appealed to the Germans to take part in defence work, out of 26,045 Germans living in Warsaw only 105 . men and 429 women volunteered.
