RED CROSS SOCIETY ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly flag 500 party was held on Saturday night by the local SubBranch of the Red Cross Society. There was a very good attendance, and a most enjoyable time was spent. The room was decorated with apple blossom and lilac by the hostesses, Nurse Dorset and Mrs Murray- Aynsley. Mr Scott conducted the games, and Mrs Scott (secretary) presented the prizes to the following: —Ladies, Mrs C. Raleigh and Mrs F. Hooper; men, Dr. Simmers and Mr P. Fauvel. Mrs F. Hooper also won the mystery parcel. Supper was served by a ladies’ committee. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs C. Brazier, who have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. H. Handyside, Parkville, have returned to Wellington. Mr and Mrs Carmine, Feilding, are on a visit to Mr and Mrs W._ D. Hart.
