CLOSEST MILITARY CO-OPERATION
To Secure Unconditional Surrender of Enemy EUROPEAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE PROPOSED WAR CRIMINALS TO BE PUNISHED LONDON, November 1. An official communique on the Moscow conference was issued this evening - . The main points set out are that the conference discussed very thoroughly the military measures in preparation and to be taken to shorten the war against Germany and her satellites in Europe. Agreement was reached on the closest military cooperation between the three countries. The Governments of the three countries represented at the conference, and the Government of China, declare that they will continue the war against their respective enemies until the latter have been brought to unconditional surrender and will invite the co-;operation of all peace-loving nations in the maintenance of international peace and security. It was agreed to set up a European Advisory Committee which will meet in London. Another committee is to be set up to deal with matters concerning Italy. This committee will include representatives of Britain, Russia, the United States and the French National Committee and provision is made for the inclusion of representatives of Yugoslavia and Greece. It was affirmed that Fascism must be utterly destroyed and the Italian people given every opportunity to establish a democratic Government. The report states that Britain, Russia- and the United States stand for the restoration of a free Austria. At the same time, account will be taken of Austria’s own efforts to regain her freedom.
The report states that members of the German Government, officers and men and members of the Nazi Party who have had anything to do with atrocities and 'crimes will be taken back to the scene of their crimes and punished in accordance with the laws of those countries.
