OPPOSITION LEADER

VISITING AUSTRALIA SHORTLY ' TO OBTAIN FIRST-HAND INFORMATION (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr S. G. Holland), accompanied by Mr F. W. Doidge, is to visit Australia shortly to obtain first-hand knowledge of the Commonwealth war effort and views on immediate and post-war problems. Mr Holland anticipates staying for a month. He said he thought the Opposition should keep abreast of development and thought in Australia, and was taking the first opportunity of making personal contact.
