Ist to 14th NOVEMBER Coupons Al & A2 (Sheet 5). ” 15th to 28th NOVEMBER Coupons A 3 and A 4. and TWO “A” Coupons in succession EACH FORTNIGHT after that. That is, after 31st OCTOBER, TWO Coupons are available EACH FORTNIGHT, and both may be used any time during the fortnight, BUT NOT AFTER. EACH COUPON has a value of HALF-A-POUND of BUiTER. REGISTRATION > REGISTER with your butter retailer before 13th November. * All your butter coupons must be redeemed with that one retailer, the one with whom you register before 13th November, HOW TO REGISTER: Fill in name, address and number of the ration-book on the “A” counterfoil on sheet 2 of the new ration book Take the ration book to the shop where you have chosen to buy your butter. The retailer will cut out the counterfoil and place his name in the space marked “A” inside the front cover. You are then registered at that shop and must continue to buy your 1 butter there for the next six months. REMEMBER: 1. Coupons are now required to buy butter. 2. Everyone must register with a retailer before 13th November. SUGAR RATIONING EVERYONE must register again for sugar before the grocer can supply November sugar.
