ATTACKED BY ALLIED BOMBERS NO FIGHTER OPPOSITION HANGARS & OTHER BUILDINGS DAMAGED. LONDON, October 29. K.A.F. 'aircraft were over France today, attacking an airfield at Brest. Typhoon bombers, with a fighter escort, took part in the raid. Heavy antiaircraft gunfire was encountered, but there was no enemy fighter opposition. Hits were observed on hangars and other buildings.
