IN PEACE AND IN WAR AIM OF MOSCOW CONFERENCE. SUBSTANTIAL PROGRESS MADE. (By Telegraph—'Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, October 27. ' ReutdV’s Moscow correspondent says that the Three-Power conference is believed to be still making substantial progress. The expert and drafting committees are continuing to work overtime in an affort to keep up with the volume of work which has been accomplished by Mr Eden, Mr Hull and M. Molotov. Some of the discussions have been keenly and closely argued, and some hurdles remain to be overcomqMtfit the auguries for the talks’ suoceWil outcome continue. JK The “News Chronicle’s” Moscow correspondent, Paul Winterton, says that' the conference delegates all appear cheerful. Concessions have been made on all sides, but the delegates are satisfied that the main object of the conference has been achieved—a united front of the three Powers both in peace arid in war. Mr Eden and Marshal Stalin had another meeting today, after which the conference sat for four hours.
