WORLD CONFERENCE

TRADE UNION PLANS ( PEACE & POST-WAR PROBLEMS ( By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, October 27. The General Council of the Trade Union Congress is planning a conference of organised workers from countries throughout the world on the basis of a memorandum from Sir Walter Citrine. The conference probably will be held in London in the middle of 1944 and will consider the attitude of trade unions to the peace settlement, the representation of trade unions at the peace conference and post-war reconstruction, including the reconstruction of the international trade union movement.
