WAR PRISONERS

EXCHANGE AT BARCELONA. NEW ZEALANDERS GOING ON TO PORT SAID. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON. October 27. The exchange of New Zealand, Australian and other Empire wounded war prisoners for Germans began this morning at Barcelona. The British Ambassador to Spain (Sir S. Hoare) and the German Ambassador visited the respective ships to which the men were transferred. The Empire contingent includes 30 men from the United Kingdom contingent who should have formed part of the Gothenburg exchange, but got into the wrong party. The Empire repatriated, men are sailing tomorrow for Port Said where they will be redistributed.
