The judge of the Friesians, Mr. Cecil Humm, Rangiora, said that the age cow class was strong. In the threeyear heifer class neither entry showed strong character. The winning two-year-old heifer was an outstanding animal, while the pen of two yearling heifers was very good. The champion cow was outstanding, but was getting past her best.
